Dr. Taruna Joshi

Dr. Taruna Joshi is an alumna of Miranda House and the Department of Library & Information Science, University of Delhi, as well as IGNOU. She is presently working as Librarian (Level–14) at Ramjas College, University of Delhi. She is the Associate Editor of Library Herald. She was the recipient of the Gopal Krishan Medal in the Bachelor of Library and Information Science, University of Delhi (1998–1999), and the DLA Distinguished Faculty Award in 2017. Dr. Joshi is currently the Secretary of the Delhi Library Association. She served as the Secretary of the Ramjas College Staff Association from 2013 to 2017 (2013–14, 2014–15, 2015–16, 2016–17). She has edited two books and written eighteen articles. She has also organized many international and national seminars and conferences.
