Dr. Usha is elected  EC Member of DLA and Faculty of Library Science at School of Library Science of DLA. She is a well-known agricultural librarian and library administrator, who devoted more than three decades for serving in the agricultural sector. She worked on various capacities in the Library of ICAR- Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Pusa, New Delhi. She retired as Head Library Services (Chief Technical Officer-9), from ICAR-IARI, Pusa.
